Do you travel?
Des Moines and surrounding areas are a great reference. However, I am always open to traveling. Not sure if you are too far away? No problem! Just ask, I bet we can make it work!
How long have you been doing this?
I started out with a Canon DSLR camera in 2012 for photography classes. I have continued to do mini sessions with family and have decided to branch out and offer sessions to the public. I now shoot with a Canon Mirrorless (R6 Mark ii).
How many photos do we get?
The depends on what session you book. Reach out and let’s talk about what you are hoping for. No matter what package you book, you will always receive every single photo that turns out amazing! I never cap how many photos you receive and I do not charge per photo.
How do we get our photos?
Your final gallery will be emailed to you for digital download. From there you will have the option to place orders for physical prints, canvas, frames, cards, invitations, etc.
Do you retouch photos?
I shoot in RAW format and will edit those images after our session. I will not alter anyone’s body or face. However, I will retouch any blemishes, remove unwanted items or people in the backgrounds, etc.
What is your turn around time?
This will depend on what type of session you book and what season we are booking in. However, you will receive B&W sneak peaks within 24 hours and you can expect to receive your final gallery within 1-2 week from your booked session. Please note that turn around time may change based on type of session. Events will always take longer to deliver.

Can you help us with planning?
I will absolutely help with planning. My goal is to make this an easy and fun experience for you. It always helps me if you have an inspo photos so I know what your vision may be. However, this is not required.
What should we do for an engagement session?
I like to capture relaxed, genuine, candid moments. Just be yourselves. I will take care of the rest. If you have props like champagne, blankets, etc. please feel free to bring those!
What should we wear?
I would never tell you what to wear. However, when you book your session I will send you my style guide so you can prepare.
